Our technicians are trained and licensed by lifeboat and davit manufacturers under their established certification programs to carry out services on the manufacturers’ behalf. The manufacturers that we partner with are market leaders in the industry, they have been in manufacturing lifeboats and davits for decades. They are also one of the most popular lifeboat and davit brands in the market today.
As of 1st January 2020, MSC. 402(96) was implemented and emphasis is placed on personnel training, knowledge transfer (such as updates to technical documents, and equipment upgrades) and availability of critical spare parts and/or special tools. All of which are easily satisfied by a Service Company with close cooperation with the lifeboat, davit, and release gear manufacturers. KHHP in-house training only prepares our service personnel for general job knowledge and they pick up make and type (model or series of equipment) specific knowledge during the training program at the manufacturer’s.
KHHP strongly believes Specialization to each Make and Model is the key to improving Service Personnel’s expertise which in turn will reduce Incidents related to lifeboats, davits and release gears.
